Dear Lou, Marc & Rem:

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak today at Jean's funeral service. It was an honor to talk about her and all the joy she brought to her sisters in sorority!

The sadness that her death brings all of us cannot begin to compare to the rapture she must now feel to be pain-free, to walk through the gates without a care in the world, knowing that while she may not be able to physically be by your sides, she will always be by your sides, protecting you, laughing with you, smiling down on you, and being a true guardian angel to her precious grandchildren.

God Speed, Jean. May the Lord Watch between me and thee while we are absent, one from the other.

I am thy sister.

Love, Pat Fairbanks
