Dear John and family,
Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. Dolores touched the lives of so many. She had a zest for life that was contagious. The students at Saint Rose loved her, and she had a special gift of connecting with the students that needed extra love...and love was Dolores' speciality! I can still hear her laugh - it makes me smile, She will be remembered always.
May God bless and guide you in the weeks ahead.
Love,
Mary and Michael West

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Scully from growing up with my good friend Janene. St. Rose School, Sleepovers, Camp Fire Girls, and Baking Days were always great times being treated as family. I also remember the challenge of being a new teenage driver and backing out of their drive way - Mrs. Scully would sometimes act as a "spotter" to ensure I was backing out safely. The Scully Home was always a wonderful enviroment of family, faith and friends.

We were so sorry to hear of Dolores illness and her passing. She was a wonderful woman and mentor. Her faith in Gold was so strong and her love of her husband John and her daughters Janine, Kathy and Melissa a model of what a wife, mother and grandmother should strive to be. She was a role model for me and a mentor and supporter to me, especially during our first years in Atascadero and at St.Rose. I have many great memories of meeting Dolores as daughter Kelly's teacher's aid in Kindergarten at St.Rose school. She helped many a parent and child adjust to life at St.Rose and was a 2nd mom to a lot of children. I enjoyed volunteering with her at school and then later working with her. She would help with both my kids, Kevin and Kelly, making sure they had a ride home, helping me out with carpooling. She was a wonderful mentor and a great, loving friend who reached out to my parents and created comfort to them, too. She has been a blessing to many and will be greatly missed. We wish you all God's healing in your hearts and know that Dolores is safe in the arms of Jesus. We love you all. Linda, Vern, Kevin and Kelly McCaughan
