I knew Lisa was special the first time she walked into the PUC LVN-RN classroom. Never once did I hear her complain or speak poorly of anyone or anything - and the stress/challenges of nursing school can certainly cause all kinds of drama in one's life. I feel privileged that our paths crossed. She was a wonderful person and nurse. This world has certainly been cheated with her gone too soon.

I grew up with Lisa riding the bus to school from our subdivision in Hanford, CA. She always had a smile on her face and made you feel important in her life. I remember one time in junior high we had a flour fight in her moms kitchen. Needless to say it was fun but it took us 2 days to clean up! I live and miss you but I know you are at peace. Tell my Mom I love her when you get to Heaven (she also died from Pancreatic Cancer).

Lisa I first met you in 2nd grade at Roosevelt - here in good ol' Hanford, CA. We grew up in the same neighborhood, as well. As kids, we enjoyed bike riding, you teaching me the piano, walking the neighborhood and swimming at all of our neighborhood friend's homes. After high school (go HHS Bullpups Class of '86), life took us different directions, since I married young and had children at age 20 and 22. We would get caught up when we'd run in to each other at the store and even the movie rental places (remember when we had those). Then, by chance, we ended up in Hanford's Pacific Union College LVN to RN Program, graduating in 2008, both of us at the YOUNG age of 40. You inspired so many with your fight against Pancreatic Cancer. Thanks to Facebook, we in your hometown of Hanford, got to witness you fulfilling your bucket list. Rest in Peace Lisa, you're in Heaven watching over us. You have unmeasurable peace and are pain free. Love you lady.

She was a wonderful person and full of life. She will be missed. I worked at her Oncologist office in Templeton and I only knew her for a short amount of time but quickly saw what a good person she was. May she rest in peace.
