San Luis Obispo, California - It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Marilyn Leverich (née Remde) announce Marilyn was called home to be with the Lord on Dec. 17th, 2024 at the age of 93.
Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her children, Martelle, Cameron (Dana); grandchildren, Shayna, Sean (Madi), Mac, Kelcy (Matt), Angela; great-grandchild, Gunner; siblings, Ted (Nancy), Connie; nephews and niece, Steve (Marguerite), Karen (John), Tony, Ken; and other extended family and numerous dear friends.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Frank and Margaret Remde; husband, Bill Leverich; and son, Bradley Leverich.
The family is deeply grateful to the staff of 'Bob and Corky's Care Home' for their loving care of Marilyn.
Memorial donations in Marilyn's name may be made to the 'San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden' at 3450 Dairy Creek Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405.
We sincerely appreciate the kind words and thoughtful gestures from those that Marilyn knew and loved so much.

Marilyn was a unique, humane and intelligent woman. We lived across the street from her for over thirty years and always enjoyed lively conversation with her, often over a glass of wine. I am so proud and honored to have known Marilyn she was a mom first to one of my classmates Marty, then she was a coworker for many years, she was my mentor and my friend and someone I could always reach out to and talk to.
