Michael Wilson Obituary

Michael Wilson Michael Wilson, 46 years old, passed away suddenly on August 22, 2014 in Oceanside, Calif. following a massive heart attack. Mike was born in Lansing, Michigan in April 1968. The youngest of 4 children, he was adored by his family. He graduated from San Luis Obispo High School in 1986 where he played baseball. Mike was a manager of Information Systems at The Automobile Club of Southern California in Orange County and worked for them since 1997. He was a wonderful, loving father to his two sons, ages 10 and 12. Weekends were busy with fishing, swimming, playing paint ball, boating, doing yard work and building things together. They will miss him deeply. Mike is survived by his wife, Bobbie; his sons, Ben and Ryan, his step-daughter Cheyenne; his parents, Jack and Joanne Wilson; his brother Dave (Mary);his sister Laurie (John); two nephews and two nieces. Mike left behind many dear friends and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary and both sets of grandparents. The funeral services will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park Mortuary and Crematory in Oceanside, California on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 2:30 PM. Services will be held at the gravesite and a reception to follow will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, an account has been established to benefit his sons, Benjamin and Ryan Wilson at Union Bank located at 247 N. El Camino Real, Encinitas, Calif. Please forgive me. I didn't know until I got on facebook. Mike and I went to Hume lake together the summer of 85. I remember he looked so much like Kevin Bacon. We had such a great time with that. It's been several years. I didn't know. What a great husband and father I'm sure he was. I am so sorry. A good friend. God bless him, his wife and sons, Again, I'm so sorry for your loss

My deepest sympathy to the Wilson family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike was such a kind and friendly person. I worked briefly with him on a project but he always took the time to say hello and chat briefly when i would see him around work. My last conversation with him was on the last day before he went on vacation. I remember asking him if he planned on moving to Texas. He said that he could not because he would not be able to see his boys. May god bless his sons and wife. Know that you were truly loved.

Mike, I still am laughing out loud over so many things that you said or did. You were an honest, kind hearted person
who treated others fairly. I miss the days when they made fun of you because of your shirts.
