Monte was my beloved, and esteemed colleague at DDCP Learning Center.

He was a voice of reason, a humble professional, a role model for many!

I carry him in my as a brother-in-arms to give our best to the students we were privileged to teach

We extend our sympathies. Monte was always delightful to be around. When I was Bishop, he was my first membership clerk. He had a job that often kept him away from church on Sunday but he never failed to fulfill his clerk duties. He was a devoted father and husband. Our family will always have fond memories of Monte and the Pendleton Family. We wish we could be at the Services in Salt Lake but we are still on our Mission in New Mexico. May God be with you.

Monte was a kind, and cheerful man. A man of integrity. He was one of just a few people who was a mentor to me as a young tradesman. May God comfort his wife and family.

I have worked at Diablo Canyon for 30 years and several of those years I had the priviledge of working in the same department as Monte. I will always remember him as a warm, loving person; and never heard anyone speak an unkind word about him. You couldn't help but feel good after being around Monte. I'm so sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of Monte's passing. I worked for him for about a year at DCPP in the training department and was glad to see him back for outages.

My most heart-felt sympathy to all who knew and loved Monte, he was such a wonderful man, father, husband, friend and wonderful mentor to so many of us.

I was privileged to work alongside Monte for many years at Diablo, get to know him, respect and love him for the great guy he was.

He was instrumental for so many good ideas, compassionate in how he treadet people, educated many, and spread his message of love and passion for the betterment of work and life in general.

He was a rock for many, a friend in need to all, a humble man of dignity and poise. I will miss him, and celebrate his memory ever more so as he was such an integral part of my career and time at Diablo.

I am blessed to have known him on a personal and professional basis. He was most of all a kindred spirit and gentleman, an example to emulate, be inspire by.

Fare well my beloved friend forever more...

Once in a lifetime you find yourself in the right place at the right time. I found myself in that place and time when I met Monte. What a lucky lady I have been to have had 52 years with an amazing man. Smart, compassionate, loving and a wonderful example to all who met him. He had a great love of the gospel and his Savior and served well. Our children reflect his qualities. His grandchildren brought him so much joy and pride. His journey here was cut short by the cancer but he will live on in all the hearts of people who knew him. Till we are togther again. Rest in peace Love.. Always, Collette
