Paul Yeager

Paul Yeager Paul Yeager passed away peacefully at age 86 on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, in Morro Bay. Having been raised in Taft, Paul lived his entire life in California except for a brief stint in the U.S. Army. He received his AA from Taft Junior College, his BA and MA from San Jose State. After teaching high school for a few years, he joined the physical science department at Diablo Valley College located in Pleasant Hill, Calif. in 1959. Paul has lived in Cambria since retiring from teaching in 1990. He was an avid bicyclist, backpacker, skier and hiker as well as a world adventurer traveler. He was known to meticulously organize trips for his large group of friends. His kindness and generosity were appreciated by friends, family and the community. Paul volunteered at the Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) in Cambria because of his love for cats. Paul is survived by his two sons: Steven and David. At this time no services are planned.
