Rev. Dr. Richard Lovett Allen

Rev. Richard L. Allen - (1924 2017). The Rev. Dr. Richard Lovett Allen, age 93, died peacefully at home on October 22, 2017. Throughout his ministry, Rev. Allen was known for a sense of humor and warm spirit coupled with a keen intellect, an appreciation for life's deep questions, which resist easy or black-and-white answers. He will be profoundly missed by his wife of 50 years, Lois Allen; children: Bruce Klickstein, Laura Crowder, Robin Klickstein and Joseph Allen; grand- children: Crystal, Maile, Emily, Kristina, Cameron, Grace and Joe; six great- grandchildren; and siblings: Margaret Starbuck, John Allen and Joseph Allen. A celebration/memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the UU Fellowship of San Luis Obispo County, 2201 Lawton Ave, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
