I remember Ricky being the best manager I'll ever have. He was lighthearted, fun, easy going and always had something nice to say. Ricky was never mean to anyone, and he stayed busy and on top of things as a Winn-Dixie manager. He will forever be in my memory as an angel, I pray for his wife, son, and family. The grocery store is not the same without Rick. I always looked forward to shifts where he was the manager on duty as a cashier, he always did what was right; he is a selfless, kind, caring man. He had more than plans for the future, plans for our futures as employees at the workplace, me, my coworkers, and even customers of mine all mourn his loss, I can't believe his pure soul was taken from us so soon. I added some of my sunflowers to his manager picture memorial, but I wish I could've done so much more to cherish his legacy. Ricky was one of my biggest cheerleaders, supporters, and a wonderful work buddy and friend overall. God took Ricky too soon because the world is a cruel place to be. I know hes watching us all from heaven, and his spirit resides overlooking his family and his friends. Ricky will be there with god to help answer my prayers. On hopeless nights and days, I will ask myself "What would Ricky do?" and he will give me the answer. I never wanted him to leave this earth and I am perpetually at a loss; his kind soul is within another realm. I know I only knew Rick for at most 3 or 4 months but Richard changed my life, made me start seeing the good in life and in people; the impact he had on me and others is perceivable for generations to come. My baby will never know how much he meant to me, but Ricky did know of my baby. I would have enjoyed introducing the two them. One day, we will meet again, if my spirit is anywhere near as holy as Ricky's.
