Robert Hill Obituary
September 5, 1932 - May 10, 2025
Los Osos, California - Robert W. Hill, 92, of Los Osos, California passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on September 5, 1932, in Woodland California to Harry K Hill and Dorothy Belleville-Hill. He spent his childhood in Willows and graduated from Willows High School.
Robert went on to study at U.C. Berkley and later earned a doctorate in Accounting from USC. Robert served in the Army during the Korean War.
He had a long and fulfilling career as a professor of accounting at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo. Robert was the creator and founder of TValue software.
He was preceded in death by his brother, sisters and wife, Mary Hill. He is survived by daughter Betsy Hill (Rick Donnely), son Thomas Hill, stepdaughters Caren Pelinvochi (Vlad) and Jennifer Von Der Lohe and grandchildren James Donnely, Eric Pelinovschi (Jennifer), Alex Pelinovschi and Steven Von Der Lohe.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Robert Hill Accounting Scholarship fund established at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Please make checks payable to "Cal Poly Endowment", note "Robert W. Hill Scholarship", and mail to:

Robert's warmth, wisdom, endearing smile and bad puns will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
