Santa Maria, California - Vincent (Vince) J. Kelley passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on January 17, 2023, at the age of 78 after succumbing to a terminal illness. Vince is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda; his daughters Kimberley Kelley, Janet Wilson, and Naomi Kelley; grandson Ryan Urbina; brothers Charles Kelley and Victor Kelley; sister Arlene Buchanan; and sister-in-law Wanda Spenny. He was preceded in death by his father Clair Kelley and mother Mary Kelley.
Vince was born on March 28, 1944, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania along with his twin brother, Victor. He lived there until the age of 18 when he enrolled in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Vandenberg. It was here on the central coast where he met the love of his life, Brenda, at the Rose Garden Ballroom in Pismo Beach. They married on November 20, 1965, and raised their three girls in Grover Beach. The majority of his working years were spent as a painting contractor.
Vince loved camping, traveling, playing cards, working in his yard, being around friends and most of all telling jokes. He was known for his sense of humor and smiling eyes. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1975 and had a strong faith in the Bible. Although Vince was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in his 40's, he never complained or dwelled on his condition. He always held onto his faith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 333 Hidden Pines Way, Santa Maria, Hall C.
