Virginia Zuchelli Obituary

Virginia Zuchelli passed away in Los Osos surrounded by family and friends on October 6, 2018, at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; daughters: Monica and Ann; sisters: Mary and Vivian; and brother Billy. She is survived by her sons: John and Patrick; grand- children: Josh, Karma, Ed, Casey, Monica and Isabel; along with several great- grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 20, 2018, in the chapel at Old Mission Cemetery in San Luis Obispo.

Virginia has been my dear friend for '( years. Like Mr Rogers song; she was my wise and witty neighbor and I came to love her and,Ed, to shqrd her joys and sorrozs. i was with her when Ed died, when she worried about John and Patrick away in the Army and the Navy, zhen Ann died::and I ws there outside the room when she died She loved her family deeply; encouraged them and oved her grandchidren and great grandkids: I wish I couold be qt her service todqy but my heqrt is qt the Mission chape as we send her with angels to pqrqise.

Virginia was my friend for decades. We met when I was in 2nd grade in Pismo. Her daughters were my schoolmates. Later on, Ed and John and Pat became family, too. I will always treasure that MamaZuke was and is my Soulmate. Such a beautiful human being. John and Pat are in my prayers as they have lost their Mom and Friend. We are all blessed know and love Virginia. And Zuke and VZ are together again - Loves goes on....

Dan and I feel fortunate to have known the beautiful, smart and witty Virginia Zuchelli and her amazing sons, Pat and John. Virginia lived a long and wonderful life, but still we mourn her passing. The world is not as bright as it was when her light shown all around. We are sending our love and heartfelt condolences to her entire family.
