Ricardo Alba Obituary

Ricardo Alba (87) died August 12, 2025 in San Marcos, TX. After graduating from NMSU with a degree in Biology, Rick entered the US Army as a 2LT and served 30 years in the Medical Service Corps. While serving, he obtained an MS in Hospital Administration from Baylor University. Golfing was his passion. He played almost every day until his long struggle with Alzheimer's began.

Rick is survived by his wife of 62 years Patricia Anne, his daughters Cynthia Alba-Love and Sonia Scott (Mike), grandchildren Annalisa Scott, Sofia Scott, and Javier Love, four brothers Fernando, Armando, Ramon, and Abelardo, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Angela, father Salvador, brother Edwardo, two sisters Paula and Yolanda, and two nephews Ricky and David.
