On the morning of August 8th, 2010, Beverly Beatrice Petersen passed quietly from life on earth into the loving arms of Jesus.
Beverly was born on August 5, 1937 in Newton, Kansas and spent most of her childhood in Dodge City, Kansas. In 1955, she moved to California and lived in the bay area for 40 years. In 1994, she retired to Capitola, CA where she and her husband Andrew enjoyed their coastal village life and the many friends they made there.
Beverly is preceded in death by her son, Vollie Lee Petersen. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Andrew Dean Petersen of Capitola, CA, and by her sons; Samuel Eugene Petersen of Murchison, Texas; Robert Allen Petersen of San Jose, CA; by her daughter; Cathryn Jill Simpson of San Jose, CA and by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 14th, at 1pm at The Capitola Gardens Clubhouse on 44th Ave. in Capitola CA.

Hi Petersen family. I am so sorry for your mom passing away. It will be the hardest thing you will ever go thu besides losing a Dad. BUT God takes care of you in a way that there are no words for.
