Resident of Santa Cruz
Christy Leigh Albright, loving mother and grandmother, passed away this month. She was a local sign painter, and a friend of many at the Santa Cruz Harbor. While she lived out of state in recent years, she always considered Santa Cruz home. She spent her remaining time surrounded by children and grandchildren, whom were the world to her.
Christy was laid to rest at Santa Cruz Memorial Park.

I will certainly miss your sweet smile and wonderful sense of humor.
You always found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Your adventurous spirit never ceased to amaze me.
From our very first meeting I found you to be warm, friendly and easy going. Your laughter was contagious. You had a loving and supportive bond with each of your children and you cherished the relationship you had with your grandchildren. You adored your four legged family as well.
Lover of nature, artistic, optimistic and good friend.
You were courageous and fought a brave fight against a relentless and fierce opponent. I will miss you my friend.
