Diane White Wagener passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021, at her home in Aptos, CA, after a long illness. She was surrounded by many members of her family.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul Wagener; son Tim White and his wife Kelly of Redding, CA; daughter Shelley White of San Carlos, CA; daughter Susan Wagener Lee and her husband Darrell of Oahu, Hawaii; son Sam Wagener and his wife Tami of Chicago, IL; daughter Kelli Pittenger and her husband Doug of Boston, MA; also, grandsons Wesley White, Gibson White, PJ Wagener, Chris Wagener, granddaughter Kendall Lee and great grandchildren Joey and Stella White. Diane was preceded in death by her brother Sanford Williams in 2000 and her son Jim White in 1978.
Diane was born in Fresno, CA, November 16, 1933. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. She spent most of her married life living in Fresno before moving to Aptos permanently in 1991. Diane was a very active member of her community as a volunteer and philanthropist. She had a zest for life and a strong love for family and friends. She was known for her countless talents and engaging personality, including her warmth, wit and grace. She is remembered affectionately by so many.
A celebration of Diane's life will be delayed until later in the year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
