I lived across the way from Gloria in her final years at Garfield Park Village. I used to always say, "Morning Glory" every morning when I ran in to her. She told me she liked it and asked me to tell her that every time I saw her. So when ever I ran into Gloria, regardless of the time of day, I would always say, "Morning Glory" and she would always smile. I hope you're smiling now Morning Glory. Reset in Peace.

Gloria and I were neighbors at Garfield Park Village for years and we became friends. I admired her ability to get things done, her sense of humor and all she contributed to the Village community.
