It is with profound sadness to learn of Jim's passing. In the Propulsion community he mentored many engineers.
The most precious thing in Jims life was his daughter Alyssa and son Alan. During a visit by them to his office they drew cartoons and Jim would never allow the board to be erased.
Marilyn, I hope you can pass on some of those cooking skills Jim acquired from you to your Grandchildren.

Jim was a charismatic and caring mentor. His stories of his adventures and perspective on life will be remembered forever.

I worked with Jimmy for many years at Lockheed Martin where we designed and built rockets together. He was a terrific engineer, a strong leader who cared about his people, and a good friend to those who knew him. The work he did made our Country safer and more secure. He will be missed.
