Jeff Kassler Obituary
March 2, 1969 – July 21, 2018
Resident of Santa Cruz
Jeff Curtis Kassler passed away unexpectantly on July 21, 2018 while on vacation with his daughter.
Jeff was raised in Los Gatos, CA and attended Los Gatos High School. His life took him many places like Lake Tahoe, CA, Reno, NV, Australia, Felton, CA and finally ending up in his dream home in Bonny Doon, CA.
He started out with an adventurous job driving a Sno-Cat up at Squaw Valley then on to Perisher Blue in Australia. Jeff then opened his own Business in Santa Cruz called Santa Cruz Sound Garden, specializing in custom car audio. After 6 years he decided to step away and be his own boss doing whatever he wanted.
Jeff's passion was being outdoors. He enjoyed taking his children on hikes to the beach and for rides on his tractor. He was happiest when working in his garden, planting flowers and just playing in the dirt.
Lately he was especially fond of his 2nd family he formed at the Black Mouse Disc Golf Course. He thoroughly enjoyed throwing discs every week with some really cool people.
Jeff is survived by is loving wife of 14 years, Sandi Kassler; daughters, Macie and Kenzi; son, Tosh; mother, Randy Southwick; father, Dale Kassler; sister, Jayme Tuomi; mother-in-law, Jo Ellen Schott and many other family members and friends.
Jeff, one of your close buddies described you perfectly: "You were a good, kind man with a true heart and gentle soul. The world is a brighter place for the impact you had on people in your life. You will always be remembered. Peace out!"
A Celebration of Life will be held at DeLaveaga Park, 850 Branciforte Drive, Santa Cruz, CA 95065 on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 11 AM.

Jeff, I will always remember what a dedicated father you were. I was so lucky to get to know you and Sandi - both amazing parents. You both were a fixture on campus and always so friendly and kind! I will always remember the fun we had volunteering in the class together! So much love to you Sandi, you were Jeff's constant companion, best friend and soulmate.

You have been in my thoughts and I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I remember seeing Jeff walk Macie to school and at softball games.The last time I saw him was at closing ceremonies. He clearly had such love for his family and I can only imagine the hole he leaves in your lives. Sending love and strength.
