Born in Santa Cruz, CA to Clarence and Donnaclaire (Stevenson) Ryan, long time resident of Ben Lomond,Ca., graduated SLVHS 1974.
He worked at Safeway from age 16, in Santa Cruz and Felton, until his retirement. He was well known and loved by co-workers and customers.
Jeff was a powerhouse bowler and bowled on leagues at Surf Bowl in Santa Cruz.
He loved camping, fishing, BBQ's, and was an avid baseball fan. His dog always by his side wherever he went.
He was especially proud to be blessed with raising his only child, Jenny. The birth of his grand daughter made him a happy "Papa".
Preceding him going home to the lord, his brother Don Ryan, and mother Donnaclaire Ryan.
Jeff leaves behind his daughter, Jenny Ryan and a grand daughter, both of Paradise; father Clarence Ryan, of Paradise; sister Leilani (Ryan) and brother in law, Frank Cabral, of Paradise, CA. and constant companion, his loyal black lab.
No funeral per his request. His ashes were placed at the Paradise Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to the American Red Cross or the SPCA/Humane Society.

Jeff, my best friend. You are truly missed. There is mever a time where I look at a creek now, that I don't expect to see you with a pole in hand and your dog by your side. We surved high school together. Gary myself and jeff, the three cabayaos. God bless you.

Jeff, I miss you my ol' SLV brother. I remembered your first day working at the Morrisey St. Safeway. We were all just kids at 16. A lot of good times Jeff. We'll catch up in heaven, we've got a lot to catch-up on. See you soon my friend.

I'm so sorry to hear Jeff passed away at such a young age. I was in his class at SLV High School in Felton, CA and he was a quiet, athletic boy. My condolences to his father, sister and daughter.
