Joseph Cianciarulo Obituary

Joe died peacefully in his Santa Cruz home on December 6th, 2022, from complications of Parkinson's Disease.He was a graduate of San Jose State College. He earned a Master's degree in Psychology and then moved to Santa Cruz in the late 60s. He had been a Counselor at Cabrillo College since 1966. His contributions to the success of Cabrillo College's mission were honored, along with the California State Senate recognizing him for his 32 years of outstanding service. He was an avid tennis player who loved going to the Imperial Courts Tennis Club often. He was a fan of fly fishing. He liked keeping up with all the current political news and sports. He enjoyed coffee while solving the New York Times crossword puzzles daily. He also appreciated the constant company of Buddy, his four-legged companion, watching over him. He had a generous spirit. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Susan Page. Joe is survived by his four children, their spouses, Heather and Matthew, Nico, Barratt and Dayna, Zachary and Amy, and his eight grandchildren, Jordan, Kylie, Joey, Ruby, Kai, Naya, Daniel, and Rylan. In addition, He is survived by his brothers Anthony and John and beloved long-time loyal friends.
