Josephine DiMaria Obituary

Josephine (Dottie) DiMaria
April 22, 1922-Jan. 30, 2012
Resident of Scotts Valley
Dottie will be remembered by her family, for her love, and energy. No, and no time, were not part of her vocabulary. She would always make time for us, and for fun!
Dottie retired from Chandler Tripp School, for special needs children, after more than 20 years. Her love was teaching cooking, and crafts to those children.
In her prime, she enjoyed ballroom dancing, dance skating, fishing, quilting, sewing, baking, cooking, crochet, bowling, bingo, cards, slot machines and especially family.
Dottie is survived by a son, Andrew DiMaria and his wife, Mayrose, a daughter, Elaine Mexicano, and her husband, Dave, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass at San Agustins, 257 Glenwood Dr. Scotts Valley on Saturday Feb. 11th at 10.45 AM.
Donations in Dottie's name may be made to the Santa Cruz S.P.C.A. at P.O. Box 3800, Santa Cruz, CA, 95063.
