Michael Jeffrey Small

Michael Jeffery Small was born in Santa Cruz and passed due to complications from a traumatic head injury on December 30, 2023.He was married and had three children and is survived by Patricia Morroti of Santa Cruz, Richard Small of Arnold CA, Brianna Small of New York, Courtney Small of Los Gatos and Bobby Small of Santa Cruz. He was preceded in death by father Russell Small, mother Ruby Small, brothers James, Robert, and Thomas Small.Michael was a Soquel High Graduate and worked as a carpenter, and in later years worked in the Home Depot lumber department. Anyone that knew Michael knew he loved his family, the 49ers and San Francisco Giants! Michael and his family spent many summers on his brother's Richard and Robert houseboat. Michael dearly loved his children and loved to build play structures and forts in the many homes they lived in. He loved to ride dirt bikes with his older brother Robert who was like a father to Michael, later in life enjoyed riding with his son Bobby. Michael was active every weekend with his children attending wrestling, baseball and softball. May you rest in peace, we will miss you!
