To the Doud - Baker Family -
This is many years late after searching for your mother / daughter....Morgan was MY BEST FRIEND all thru high school and then after.....She moved so far away from Manhattan Beach...to pursue her dreams.
We spoke of you - her children - and I knew she loved you very much. I am sure you are all very strong people as your mother was the strongest person I have ever known.
My heart aches to just learn of this tragedy.
Know that your mother loved you more than life itself.....
God Bless You....and same to the Baker's....Morgana is missed I am sure.....
Always in memory of a magnificent woman !!!!

To my family~
Tess, you are my best friend, my sister. And Koah and Quinn, my brothers. I love you all more than words can say, just as your mom did. Within all of you she lives whether it is the smile on your faces or the passion behind your eyes. Just know that my family and I are here for you and your entire family, always.
We will love and miss her forever, but she will never truly be gone.

My deepest sympathy to all, this news has just trickled my way. I knew Morgan through working with Eco Design Resources, and after the change. I always looked forward to any conversation with Morgan as she was a wonderful person, with many things to teach us all. The world, and the green build world will surely miss Morgans wonderful presence. I am deeply sorry, and hold her memory in my heart.

God has told us that forgiveness is a strength we must allow so we can live without hate. I knew your mother / daughter and can only feel the loss you have. She was a beautiful woman and mother. May your lives be blessed by her living and setting the stage for you to move forward in a positive way that will effect everyone you come to meet throughout your lifes. Dear Tess, Quinn and Koah,
You don't know me but I knew your mom, not very well, but enough to think when I first met her, "now that is a cool woman!" I met your mom through our shared passion for eco interiors, and that was at the Eco Design shop when it first openned downtown. Your mom was the Eco Interiors Queen! and I admired her knowledge and commitment.... I often went looking for her to pick her brain and find out about the latest cool eco materials. She was always so helpful, so friendly and someone with such a beautiful spirit (inside and out), I wish so much I could have gotten to know her more.
You three have such a huge community of people who love you and whose thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you too.

Tess & Quinn, and all the other family of Morgana: - I knew you two just a little bit as I worked in the 7th grade Gateway classroom as a tutor...I am also a twin...I can not begin to imagine what you are feeling, and know that words may seem inconsequential right now. I am so sorry for your loss and I will be sending you thoughts of grace, peace and comfort at this impossible time. As I read people's memories, I see what a radiant light your mother was -- and will continue to be in your hearts and in the difference she made in this world. We can all be inspired by Morgana.

Morgana and her parents Jeffrey & Bob are cornerstones of Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Association. Without their love, care, energy, resources, and strong belief in our mission we would not have the strong foundation on which we stand today. The loss of Morgana is felt profoundly. We are literally shaken at our core. Our healing thoughts and love are with Morgana’s family as well as with the community on which her life has made such a great impact.

To the children,
I'm new to the area and I didn't know your mom well. But Greenspace was one of the first stores I went to when I moved here and your mom was great at helping me design "special" spaces for my kids in our new home. She was kind and funny and talked so fondly and proudly about all of you.
I was deeply saddened when I read about her tragic death and I pray that you find comfort in the love she shared and the many fond memories you have. Your mom was a bright light. May that light show you the way in the days ahead.
In Sympathy,
Julie Case

Koah, Quinn and Tess,
I so fondly remember talking with your mom after school at Gateway when I was an aide/afterschool supervisor. I remember being in awe of her grace and how she always had such an easy smile. I remember babysitting for you guys and Reggie remembers coaching Quinn in soccer with Marcus and all your other old Gateway friends. I would run into your mom and you guys from time to time around town and she always radiated such a loving, sweet energy. I've been thinking about you guys so much in the past couple days and send you, along with so many others, love and strength and know you can always ask us for anything. Dear Doud children and Baker Family,
I am grief stricken hearing the news today of your beautiful mother/daughter/sister's passing. My heart is so heavy feeling your loss. But having worked for your grandparents, Jeffery and Bob on a dream home they created for their children and grandchildren, I know that you will be surrounded by the family love and devotion that will be necessary to get through this difficult time. Although I only met Morgana a handful of times, I know what a special daughter, mother, and sister she was from all the praise she received from her family. My prayers are with all of you at this time of loss and my hope is that this tragedy will bring you all closer together. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help in any way.

Dear Doud family (and friends & colleagues),
My name is Rich Mintz, and I work at Eco Design Resources, on the Peninsula (formerly in San Carlos, now in Redwood City). It's from working in the same company (albeit in different locations) that I had a passing acquaintance with Morgan.
Though I didn't know her well, I remember her as a bright, strong, dedicated, and passionate woman. Suffice to say, losing someone of such qualities leaves a large hole in all of our lives.
I wish to express my heartfelt condolences. And as one who lost my parents early, I'd like to share that the overwhelming grief you feel now, will eventually transform. You'll learn to carry your mom in your hearts. She'll always be with you. And someday, instead of pain, her memory will rekindle within you the fondness, laughs and love which you shared in her lifetime. I pray that for each of you, that day comes at the perfect time.
Please let me know if I can help in any way.
My deepest sympathies,
Rich

Dear Bob, Jeffrey & Family,
My deepest condolences go out to you and your family during this difficult time. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to talk with Morgana. She was helping her daughter select items for a project. Their easy smiles and laughter were infectious that day. Morgana’s spirit will live on through the hearts of the children.

Please know, as you struggle and grieve and work to find a way to continue through this tragedy, that her greatest hope is that you find peace and happiness and love in your lives - that will be her most lasting legacy. It seems you are surrounded with love and understanding to hold you. I send every sympathy and wish to you for grace and strength and to find hope in the future.

You children won't remember me because it's been years since I have seen you. I am one of the original Jacob's Heart moms from 1998 when your mom so heartfully put her time and talent into creating a beautiful logo for the organization and did many, many other meaningful and selfless acts to help Lori get Jacob's Heart off the ground. I cannot imagine your pain. Please know that I am thinking of you all the time and if there is anything I can do for any of you, or your grandparents, do not hesitate to contact me through Lori. My heart goes out to Morgan's children and family as they cope with this experience and learn how to grow from it. I knew Morgan through our shared work in the community. She was a colleague and someone whom I admire: a smart, funny, beautiful and talented businesswoman, educating and inspiring others through her work and personality. To the folks at Greenspace, who were a second family, perhaps, my heart goes out to you all too. This is a difficult time to go back to work and I commend you all for being there for us, the community, to share our grief and healing with. I am saddened that Morgan will no longer be with us in the physical form but her work and legacy lives on.

Although it has been several years since I came with Kyle, mom, and your grandpa Rebel to visit you out in California, I wanted to say that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tess, Quinn and Koa, My love and prayers are with you. Your mom was a mentor and role model to me. She was the life force behind greenspace. She was our teacher, our leader, and our friend. She accomplished so much, but her greatest pride was being your mother. We spent countless afternoons talking about your endeavors and accomplishments. She reminded us of the joy you brought her every day. I've spent the last 24 hours reflecting on my relationship with her-thinking about our day to day, our lunches, her wonderful jewlery, the way she'd kick off her shoes and walk around the showroom barefoot. She loved the spicy carrots from Taqueria Santa Cruz and always asked me to bring extras with our lunch. She taught me to be strong and dedicated, to challenge myself and to believe in myself. I am so grateful for her. You are in my heart and she is and will be always.
