To the Doud - Baker Family -
This is many years late after searching for your mother / daughter....Morgan was MY BEST FRIEND all thru high school and then after.....She moved so far away from Manhattan Beach...to pursue her dreams.
We spoke of you - her children - and I knew she loved you very much. I am sure you are all very strong people as your mother was the strongest person I have ever known.
My heart aches to just learn of this tragedy.
Know that your mother loved you more than life itself.....
God Bless You....and same to the Baker's....Morgana is missed I am sure.....

My deepest sympathy to all, this news has just trickled my way. I knew Morgan through working with Eco Design Resources, and after the change. I always looked forward to any conversation with Morgan as she was a wonderful person, with many things to teach us all. Dear Tess, Quinn and Koah,
You don't know me but I knew your mom, not very well, but enough to think when I first met her, "now that is a cool woman!" I met your mom through our shared passion for eco interiors, and that was at the Eco Design shop when it first openned downtown. Your mom was the Eco Interiors Queen! and I admired her knowledge and commitment.... I often went looking for her to pick her brain and find out about the latest cool eco materials. She was always so helpful, so friendly and someone with such a beautiful spirit (inside and out), I wish so much I could have gotten to know her more.
You three have such a huge community of people who love you and whose thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I became acquainted with Morgan through my son's friendship with Tess. Dominic spent a lot of time with the family last year. I vividly remember meeting Morgan for the first time and thinking-wow, there is so much love and closeness between Tess and her Mom. This love and her amazing spirit will last forever.

When I think of Morgana, I remember her visiting my family when we lived oversaes. She was backpacking through Europe, in her twenties at the time. I have always admired her passion for life. She has been taken too soon and will be sorely missed. I am glad the family has come together to care for the children.

I'm new to the area and I didn't know your mom well. But Greenspace was one of the first stores I went to when I moved here and your mom was great at helping me design "special" spaces for my kids in our new home. She was kind and funny and talked so fondly and proudly about all of you.

My name is Rich Mintz, and I work at Eco Design Resources, on the Peninsula (formerly in San Carlos, now in Redwood City). It's from working in the same company (albeit in different locations) that I had a passing acquaintance with Morgan.
Though I didn't know her well, I remember her as a bright, strong, dedicated, and passionate woman. Suffice to say, losing someone of such qualities leaves a large hole in all of our lives.
I wish to express my heartfelt condolences. And as one who lost my parents early, I'd like to share that the overwhelming grief you feel now, will eventually transform. You'll learn to carry your mom in your hearts. She'll always be with you. And someday, instead of pain, her memory will rekindle within you the fondness, laughs and love which you shared in her lifetime. I pray that for each of you, that day comes at the perfect time.

Tess, Quinn and Koa, My love and prayers are with you. Your mom was a mentor and role model to me. She was the life force behind greenspace. She was our teacher, our leader, and our friend. She accomplished so much, but her greatest pride was being your mother. We spent countless afternoons talking about your endeavors and accomplishments. She reminded us of the joy you brought her every day. I've spent the last 24 hours reflecting on my relationship with her-thinking about our day to day, our lunches, her wonderful jewlery, the way she'd kick off her shoes and walk around the showroom barefoot. She loved the spicy carrots from Taqueria Santa Cruz and always asked me to bring extras with our lunch. She taught me to be strong and dedicated, to challenge myself and to believe in myself. My thoughts go out to Quinn, Tess, and Koah. Morgan was one of the core room parents at Gateway School from Kindergarten to 7th grade. She was always there for every field trip, event, and classroom project. She lives on through all of the love that she gave to the school and community.
