A Resident of Scotts Valley, California
Myrlyn May Tieman, 83, passed away at her Scotts Valley home on Sunday. A native of Bend, Oregon, she has lived in Scotts Valley for 12 years. She enjoyed bowling, golf and doing crafts, and most of all, her children, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Myrlyn is survived by her son, Mark D. Tieman (Geri) of Red Bluff, daughters, Marla L. Nittler of San Jose and Maxine "Maggie" Prater (Tim) of Scotts Valley. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Leslie Toledano (Angel), Jessica Westfall (Eric), John Nittler (Kat), Katie Walton (Andrew), Traci Mathews, Stephanie Prater, and Cassie Austin-Wood (Stephen). She is also survived by her 16 great grandchildren: Anthony Toledano, William Tieman, Marland, Timothy and Taylor Nittler, Hannah, Heidi, and Joseph Mathews, Makayla and Nikki Austin, Aidan, Michael and Emma Walton, Zachary Wood, Lucy Newcomb and Elizabeth Westfall. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marlin Tieman in 1997.
A Celebration of Myrlyn's life will be held at "The Mill", 552 Bean Creek Road, Scotts Valley on Sunday February 15 from 1 to 4 PM. Contributions preferred to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Dr, Scotts Valley, Ca 95066.
