Pauline J. Lambert, 102, passed away at her Aptos home on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. She is survived by her son Albert T. Lambert veteran of the 1st Cavalry Division, Viet Nam of Aptos and her son-in-law William Artau, Jr of Aptos and her four grandchildren, Diana Thomas of Aptos, William Artau III of Watsonville, Thomas Lambert of Hollister and Kim Kirby of Colorado. She is also survived by her twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 1982 and by her daughter, Connie Artau in 2005.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Pauline has lived in the Santa Cruz area for over 50 years. She was both a talented ice-skater and dancer and roller-skater and dancer. Pauline loved to cook and baked wonderful pies.
Memorial services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. under direction of Santa Cruz Memorial. Contributions preferred to Hospice Caring Project, 950 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, Ca 95066
