No formal services are planned for Robert F. Curtis, who passed away on March 13, 2011. A native of Los Gatos, California, he attended local schools and, following graduation from Los Gatos High School in 1937, enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Bob was 91.
Bob was a member of The American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association, Los Gatos Masonic Lodge and Central California Past Masters Association. He worked for many years in the U.S. Postal Service as Manager of Customer Service. He enjoyed travel, cards, gardening, bonsai, wood sculpture, painting and puzzle solving.
He is survived by his loving wife Lois [MacDonald] Curtis of Santa Cruz, son John Curtis of Magalia, California, stepsons Paul W. Pearson, Grants Pass, Oregon, Gerald B. MacDonald, Sparks, Nevada, John A. MacDonald, Santa Cruz, and Philip C. and David B. MacDonald of Hollister, California, as well as 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Grandpa was a one of a kind man. He was gentle, sincere and loved his family unconditionally. He never did anything out of selfish desire. I am at peace knowing he is with Jesus and family members who have gone before. I love my Grandpa.
