Steven Kirk Bordwine died at his residence, January 11, 2006, at the age of 43. Steven was born June 19, 1962 in California. He was raised in Fresno and had lived in Santa Cruz County for 14 years. He previ-ously operated a carpet cleaning business and currently as an addic-tion counselor with Janus of Santa Cruz.
Steven was active in racquetball, motorcycle racing, ping-pong, skiing, ATV's, traveling, listening to music and spending time with his wife and children. He enjoyed Bar-B-Q's and watching football.
Steven is survived by his wife, Celeste Stanford and two children, a son Steven Kirk Bordwine, Jr., of Scotts Valley and daughter Ashley Nichole Bordwine of Aptos; his mother Celeste Bordwine of Scotts Val-ley and a brother Michael Vince Bordwine of Aptos. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 1986.
A memorial service will be Sunday, January 22nd, at 2:00 P.M. in the Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz.
