Vicente Manuel Nuñez was born in Artesia, CA on April 28, 1991, and passed away on April 28, 2022. Vicente was raised in Santa Cruz and is considered by many as an official local. Vicente was large and in charge, but he had great humility and never imposed it on his peers. Many locals of Santa Cruz recognized him for his association with Chevron in Capitola, Kind People's and Verutti's, but those who knew him will remember his charm and genuine friendliness. Outside of work however, Vicente was a man composed of social influence, and thoroughly enjoyed the intercommunication he could generate with any person he came across with great confidence in various settings.
Leaving behind are parents Vicente and Silvia, and brothers Miguel, Antonio, and Cesar; aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding his passing were his grandmothers "Grand'Mere" and Mama Andrea, Tio Carlos, Tia Olivia, Aunt Julia, and cousin Jason.
The wake/visitation/rosary will be on May 24th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Crystal Chapel at Oakwood Memorial Chapel located at 3301 Paul Sweet Rd, Santa Cruz, CA 95065. The funeral service will be on May 25th at 11:30am at Holy Cross Church located at 210 High St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. He will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Park.
