Andre Von Reiter Obituary
Andre Albert Von Reiter, 81, passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Andre was born February 12, 1941 in Konigsberg-Prussia to Ursula Schemmerling Scheidereiter and Alfred Scheidereiter. Married 56 years, Andre is survived by his wife Marilyn Pacanda Von Reiter and son Kurt Andre Von Reiter and two grandsons Andre Astor Von Reiter and Soren Edward Von Reiter, sister-in-law Carol Joy Pacanda Johnson, brother-in-law Jon Asher and nephew Jason Johnson and family.
Andre was the owner of A&A Auto Sales, a German automotive repair business, in Port Chester, New York for fifty six years and had many loyal customers from all over the New York metropolitan area and New Jersey. Andre had many longtime close friends and loved skiing in Vermont and fishing on the Long Island Sound.
Andre moved to Santa Fe in 2005 where he spent his retirement enjoying new friends and loving Santa Fe for all its beautiful land and sunsets. He loved to work in his garage creating items with metal. Andre was a man's man, genuine and loving soul who loved nature and always looked for adventure. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
