CARLOS De Herrera Obituary

CARLOS ROQUE DE HERRERA
Carlos Roque De Herrera, age 59, a lifelong resident of Santa Fe was called unexpectedly, to his eternal home by the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2021.
Carlos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfonso and Filomena De Herrera, and Jose Fermin and Cordilia Laumbach Maes; his uncles, Roque and Jake De Herrera, Jose Fermin and Pete Maes; his aunt, Victoria Kirschenmann; his nephew, Jarod Schutz; and brother-in-law, Brent Schutz.
Carlos is survived by his parents, Alfonso and Lorraine De Herrera; his brother, Paul De Herrera; his sisters, Beverly Morris (Kevin), Elaine Rivera (Steve), and Carmen Noedel (Ron); his nephews, Zachary Rivera (Bryann) and Calvin Noedel; his nieces, Jennifer Flores (Steve), Valerie Chacon (Manuel), Emily Schutz, Kryshana De Herrera, and Claudia Noedel; his great-nephews, Jarod, Maddox, and Jacoby Flores, and Jaxon C de Vaca; his great-nieces, Mia Flores, Monique Lopez, and Isabela and Julianna Chacon. Carlos is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Carlos was a very beloved, kind-hearted, and talented man. He was known for his infectious smile, warm greetings, and ability to complete any project professionally and with love. He especially liked auto mechanics, landscaping, construction, and house painting. He liked to bike ride in his earlier years and lately was an avid bowler. We will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers: Jennifer Flores, Emily Schutz, Zachary Rivera, Valerie Chacon, Kryshana De Herrera, Calvin and Claudia Noedel. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Carter, Charlie Garcia, and Rick Gallegos.
Services will be on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rosary at 10:00 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Elizabeth Shelter on behalf of Carlos Roque De Herrera.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
