Doris Anaya Obituary
MAY 10, 1952 - MAY 16, 2024
Santa Fe - Doris E. Anaya, age 72, born and raised in Santa Fe, went peacefully on May 16th, 2024, to join her mother, Cornelia V. Anaya, father, Leandro C. Anaya, sister Christine M. Anaya, granddaughter Desiree Gonzales, and brother-in-law Pete F. Gomez, who has preceded her in death.
She is survived by life lifelong partner, Francisco Ruiz; Son Waldo Anaya, Grandchildren: Isaiah Anaya, Jonathan Anaya, and Cristin Anaya. Great grandchildren: Joziah Anaya, James Anaya, Caleb McDowell, McKenzie Gutierrez-Anaya, Sophia Anaya, Lilia Anaya, Ivy Anaya, and Eleia Roybal. Sister: Dolores Anaya Gomez and brother, Leandro Anaya; nieces: Germaine Gomez-Carrillo (Daniel), Sonya Anaya, and Sarah Ray (Dennis); nephews: Manuel and Leandro B. Anaya; great-niece Shaya Rivera and Kianna Gomez; great-nephews: Derrick Gomez, Joaquin, and Jonah Rivera; Matthias and Christian Carrillo.
Funeral services will be on Monday, May 27th, 2024.
"Memorial Day" at St. Anne's Parish with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m.

I'm very sorry for your family's loss. I fondly remember Doris from Montgomery Wards and working with her at Rachel's Bakery. I used to enjoy running in to her when she worked at Walmart and catching up. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
