FRED PALMER Obituary
PALMER JR.
Fred William Palmer, Jr. 82, died peacefully in his sleep November 7, 2025 after a brief illness.
The seventh of eight children, Fred was born February 19, 1943 to Fred William Palmer and Leila Edna (Landreth) Palmer in Parsons, Kansas.
Moving to New Mexico in 1971 to pursue a master's degree from NM Highlands University, Fred then had a short stint working in Texas. Fred came to Santa Fe and opened "Fred's Famous Flowers" and then "Artichokes & Pomegranates", the latter winning many local awards.
Fred was preceded in death by 1 brother and 5 sisters and is survived by his younger sister Leila "Ann" Bradshaw of Idaho and many close friends near and far.
In lieu of donations, please buy flowers from a local florist.
