Gina Lujan, 69, passed away on April 16, 2022. She was born on June 27, 1952 in Santa Fe, NM to Charlotte Padilla and Victor Valdez (Tisnado). Gina married Juan M. Lujan on July 15, 1983 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Victor Valdez (Tisnado) and Charlotte Padilla, son; Juanito Lujan, daughter; Emilia Lujan, sister; Mary Helen Valdez, half siblings; Bobby Garcia, Joseph V. Padilla, Vera Harris, Eloy Padilla, Rita Garcia, and Abran Lopez.
She is survived by her husband; Juan M. Lujan, son; Jerry Cordova, grandsons; Matthew Cordova and Isaac Cordova, Granddaughter; Brittany Lujan and Charmaine Vigil Lujan.
A viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 417 East Rodeo Road Santa Fe, NM 87505 Rivera Family Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9:00 a.m.

Oh my God.!! I was simply trying to find some information about my business when it first opened in the late 90;s for some odd reason i thought maybe if I put Emilia Lujan it will bring up the mugs and chile baskets. I come across Gina Luan Obits... Naturally Knowing a Gina Lujan I click and .... No No. Ohh no. Gina..... I last spoke with her maybe a year ago.
I last saw her with Juan at the Fiestas on the Plaza on September 9. It has been years since I saw them .. She approached me.
My deepest condolences to Juan, Jerry, Brittny, all family, and friends.
met Gina Back in the late 90s when she stepped up to my photo mugs booth. She told me about her daughter Emilia. I was doing personalized photo items at Villa Linda. She went on to tell me about Brittney, the young child Emilia left behind . The granddaughter they were now raising,My heart sank and tears gushed. As Gina with watery eyes fought to hold hers back.
That was the start of our little business idea trial. We wanted to keep Emilia's image and name alive as well as the chile basket business they had started together. So I supplied the Emila photo mugs that Gina filled with chile and placed in the baskets to sell. That was nothing compared to the bond and the friendship that began and the love that grew would last for years to come. Though at times we lost contact, either I or Gina would always find the other. Soon I met the family. I was taken aback by the gentle warmth and humility. There was a deep sense of love. family, togetherness. light and warmth that exuded anywhere they were.
This unex[pectind finding of a dear friend , a wonderful strong lady has hit me hard. May her amazing warm light forever shone upon her loved one.
I guess on the other had I took joy and comfort in knowing that she had been reunited with her two children whom she loved immensely, Emilia and Juanito.
May the 3 of you once again revel forever together in heaven.

My condolences to the entire family, Juan, Jerry, Britt, Matthew and Juan V. Since meeting Emilia at 16 years old, Gina you became my friend. Over 32 years we´ve remained in touch and I´m going to miss everything about you! You were truly an amazing woman, so strong and always there for a listening ear. Oh Gina, what can I say. I´m going to miss you so much sister. We´ve been friends since we were 16. You always amazed me with the way you took care of family and friends alike.
