JONATHAN PERALTA Obituary
Jonathan Michael Peralta, also known as "Petty" among many who loved him, was called home on December 15, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Jonathan was born on September 22, 1980 in Albuquerque, NM.
Growing up, he was lovingly known as a "Gentle Giant" with a contagious laugh and a warm smile. Jonathan attended Santa Fe High School, graduating in 1999. At SFHS, Jon excelled in football and basketball where he earned multiple All-State and All-District honors. Jon had a passion for cooking and dreamed of one day owning his own restaurant.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Annette Broughton; father; Michael Peralta; son, Damian Peralta; brothers, Chris Peralta and Steven Peralta; sisters, Andrea Peralta and Felicia Valdez; niece, Jordan Munoz; and nephew, Aidan Peralta, not to mention numerous family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Elizabeth's Shelter, Life Link, or the Santa Fe Recovery Center.
