JOSEPH P. ALLOCCA
Joseph (Joey) P. Allocca, 82, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, succumbing to a broken heart less than three months after the loss of his beloved wife, Paula Allocca. Preceded in death by two children, DeAnza Allocca in 1985 and Nicholas Allocca in 2015, Joey faced adversity with resilience, embodying his Italian heritage.
Leaving New York in his early 20s, Joey dedicated himself to providing for his family in Santa Fe, NM. A charismatic salesman, he actively engaged in the community, served on the City Council, and nurtured his businesses. Marrying twice, his first union resulted in four children-Frances Maier, Paul Allocca, DeAnza Allocca, and Christina Kristoffersen. Later, finding enduring happiness with Paula, his partner of 45 years, they jointly created the successful Pension Company and were blessed with two children, Nicholas Allocca and Gina Edmonds.
In later years, Joey and Paula relocated to Arizona to be closer to family, and Joey delved into real estate during retirement. A man of diverse interests, from sports to technology, Joey wholeheartedly embraced the American dream.
A constant source of inspiration and support, Joey's departure leaves a poignant void. His legacy lives on through his three daughters and seven grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, and is a testament to his determination, love, and unwavering commitment to family. Farewell – We love you.
Services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Glendale, Arizona, on Monday, February 12th, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a service at Heritage Funeral Chapel in Peoria, Arizona, at 12:30 p.m.
