Josephine Marie Kuzynski

JOSEPHINE KUZYNSKI Josephine Marie Kuzynski, nee Pampinella, passed away on June 16, 2017. She was well taken care of, and looked after, by her daughter Linda Prince. She was a resident of Sierra Vista where she received kind and comforting attention in her struggle with dementia and Alzheimer's. She also received good care from Kingston Memory Care, making friends with her quick witted responses and sense of humor. Josephine was born July 5, 1924 to Italian immigrants and graduated from Girls Commercial High School in NYC. She married John Kuzynski on Nov. 4, 1945 and is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Prince and Loraine Kuzynski, 3 granddaughters, Liz Prince, Stephanie Harris, Caitlin Prince, 1 grandson, Joey Prince and 1 great granddaughter, Jade Harris. She had a kind and very generous heart and lived a long and healthy life until she was diagnosed with dementia last year. She enjoyed league bowling, traveling with family & friends and playing poker machines in her later years. Her favorite activity was sharing a meal with her family, cooking the world's best chicken soup for her grandchildren, and later became a frequent patron of Chili's, Red Lobster and Olive Garden. Her family is very grateful to Legacy Hospice for providing comfort, kindness and respect during the last weeks of her life. A memorial service at Rivera Chapel will be announced at a later date.
