KAREN A.G. LOUD
The Santa Fe Opera extends heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of former Board Director Karen A. G. Loud, who passed away in Santa Fe on October 5, 2025.
A pioneer in the financial industry, Ms. Loud devoted her time and expertise to the arts in Santa Fe and New York. She served for a decade on the Santa Fe Opera Board of Directors during the 1990s and as a Trustee of the Santa Fe Opera Foundation. Locally, her leadership also benefited the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, International Folk Art Market, School for Advanced Research and Performance Santa Fe.
Karen's enduring contributions to the opera and to Santa Fe's cultural life continue to inspire our work and enrich our community. The company will long remember her steadfast leadership, vision and generous support of the arts.
