MARY DURAN Obituary

MARY ORLESIA DURAN
Mary Orlesia of Agua Fria Village, Santa Fe, born June 25, 1935, joined the Lord on May 12, 2023. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Mary, a woman of faith, looked forward to everlasting life and uniting with the Lord and her departed loved ones.
Preceded in death by parents Aurelia and Manuel Bermudez, husband Alfonso Duran Senior, son Richard Duran, and siblings: Isidoro, Ramon, Salomon, Tony Bermudez and Socorro Maes. Survived by children: Rose Marie Duran, Sylvia Duran Nickerson (Edward), Alfonso Duran Jr. (Sara Rendon), Sandra Mares (Michael). Grandchildren: Leah Manning (David), Carlo Franco (Tara), Raquel Wheeler, Jennifer Carmack, Estevan & Christiana Mares and five great grandchildren. Sisters: Angie Cordova, Gloria Tweedy, and Elizabeth Martinez. In-laws: Dessie and Fred Sandoval, Adolfo Maes, Patrick Martinez, Michael Tweedy, Nila, Rose and Patsy Bermudez, including numerous extended family members and friends.
When God called on her, she responded. Mary lives in our hearts and in everlasting life! A Catholic service will be held at the San Ysidro Historic Church on July 27, 2023 at 9:00 am, followed by a burial at the Santa Fe National Veterans' Cemetery at 12:30 pm. Mary's life celebration will be announced during Mass.
