Phillip G. Sandoval "Phil" 65, a resident of Pecos NM passed away and entered Heavens eternal light on January 31, 2025. Phil was born in Santa Fe NM on May 20, 1959, to Edward and Carmen Sandoval.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Sandoval, daughter Esperansa Sandoval, sister Edwina Sandoval, and grandmother Manuelita Gonzales.
Phil is survived by his mother Carmen Sandoval, his three children Crystal Sandoval Ramirez (Joe), son Joshua Sandoval, daughter Amber Sandoval (Marvin). Grand children Dominica Sandoval (Chuy), Gabriel Standing Elk, Donnivyn Sandoval, Jillian, Shane, and Omri Ortiz, and Anastasia Sandoval. He was also survived by sister Elizabeth Gabaldon (Patrick), nephew Armando Gabaldon (Deven), niece Adrianne Avitia (Irvin), great nephew Armandre Gabaldon, great nieces Arlanni Gabaldon, Liliana and Celine Avitia. Phil is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Phil got his GED when he was 17 and enlisted himself into the United States Army. He attended Santa Fe Community College and received his Associates Degree.
Phil opened and owned his own business, Overkill Construction, with the outline of his big muscle arm flexing for the business logo. He developed and established his company's foundation and reputation based on honesty, integrity, creativity, blood, sweat, tears, and lots of hard work. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, family and friends. He loved spending time outdoors, riding his Harley and working on cars. He always strived to help anyone or anything in need. He was very compassionate, loving and caring with all the stray dogs and cats he would take into his home. He may have never had much to give, but he would rip the shirt off his back for the people he loved. Phil is loved, cherished and will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday February 21, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:00pm at Santa Funerals and Cremations 1091 A. Siler Road, Santa Fe, NM 87507.
