ROBERT DUNN Obituary

ROBERT ALAN DUNN Jr.
July 7, 1944 – October 20, 2025
On October 20, 2025, Robert Alan Dunn Jr. passed away surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was a successful real estate professional for 46 years, working alongside his wife, Pamela. Through their company, Robert Dunn Real Estate, they built one of the most enduring real estate partnerships in Santa Fe.
Bob served as president of both the Santa Fe Association of Realtors and the Realtors Association of New Mexico. He was honored as the Santa Fe Association of Realtors' "Realtor of the Year" and New Mexico's "Realtor of the Year" in 2006, during which time he championed improvements in education and professional standards.
Bob served on too many committees and nonprofit boards to list, but his longest dedication of service was to the progression of the Railyard Community Foundation. He was deeply community-minded and loved volunteering. His most recent honor was a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.
One of Bob's proudest achievements was serving in the United States Marine Corps, with distinguished service in combat, where he honorably received two Purple Hearts.
Bob's greatest loves were his family, friends, colleagues, and sports. He was a devoted Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan. He loved a round of golf with friends and spending time in the beautiful New Mexico outdoors.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held in July 2026. Donations may be made at a later date to a charity of his choice; more information will be provided.
Bob is survived by his wife, son, two granddaughters, brother, nieces, and nephews.
Bob's body could no longer keep up with his spirit. Every human is a universe-Bob's was vast.

My deepest sympathies to Pam, Jack, Kevin and family. Bob was always a joy to be with and exuded that Dunn charm. His accomplishments I knew were many, but he was humble and I'd never heard from him about the huge impact he made in Santa Fe. He'll be deeply missed by all and I'll miss entertaining him on the porch at 107, a special spot that sparks fond memories of the Dunn boys. Rest in peace, Bob, you are loved.

Bob and Pam were great friends of mine, primarily through real estate. Bob was dedicated to the profession of real estate, he was always involved in duties such as serving on the Board, serving on committees, and teaching classes for the real estate industry. Pam, his wife, was his best friend and companion for the last 30 years. I will miss him as a friend, a warm and interesting and always curious friend.

My heartfelt condolences to Pam, Kevin and Bob´s family. I knew Bob through his late sister Deborah. Bob was an always kind, generous and the strong grounded mainstay for everyone around him. I imagine him with Deborah and Steven now, all those dimples, laughter and sparkling eyes in the great beyond.
Rest easy Bob
