ROGER MILLER Obituary
Roger H. Miller died February 18, 2025 in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the age of 91.
Roger had a long and full life, shared with countless friends and family. He was born and raised in Texas alongside his siblings Bob, Ann, and Tom. He married his wife, Ellen, in Japan in 1963.
He became a plastic surgeon and gave aid to patients in Santa Fe, Nepal, and Cambodia. Roger loved the mountains, rivers, deserts, and desserts. He was passionate about music, helped found the Orchestra of Santa Fe, and supported a variety of musicians over many years.
He dearly loved his three sons, Roger, Neil, and Justin and welcomed their spouses Sarah and Lara to the family. He cherished and inspired his grandchildren, Ruby, Jasper, Oliver, and Felix.
Roger was loved by many and will be missed.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Kitchen Angels or the Santa Fe Community Orchestra.

I am saddened to hear of Roger's passing, but will celebrate his long life dedicated to his family and friends. Always will I cherish my memories of time spent with the Miller family spending our summers in Santa Fe.

Ellen, Roger, Neil, and Justin,
Condolences on the loss of Roger. I remember the difficult work he performed during the prison riots and will never forget the bond of shared trauma my brother had with all of you. I also think of a lovely Christmas spent in your home. Roger had a beautiful soft spirit. Ellen, thank you for coming to Mom´s service. Grieve as your heart chooses the path. No one ever had the relationship you two had and grief is just as unique. Love you all always.
