In Loving Memory of Tony Narvaiz
November 16,1952- December 21,2024
It is with deep sorrow the passing of Tony Narvaiz who left us peacefully on December 21, 2024 at the age of 72. Born on November 16, 1952. In Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tony lived a life full of love, wisdom, and kindness. Tony was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He dedicated his life to his family and community, always offering a helping hand and warm smile.
His passion for hunting, fishing and his unwavering commitment to his family left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Mosa Narvaiz, his father David Narvaiz, his brothers Dave Narvaiz, Larry Narvaiz, Adolfo Narvaiz.
He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Narvaiz, daughter Gloria Montano, children: Audriana Narvaiz-Montano (Nano), Natasha Montano, Isaac Varela, Richard Montano III. Son Leon (Katya) Narvaiz and children. Tony is also survived by his brothers Joe (Nora), Gilbert (Stephanie), Danny (Judy), Michael and Sisters Marlene, Hilda (Jimmy). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever cherish the memories and lessons he imparted. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire us all.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Danny Narvaiz, Joe Narvaiz,Jimmy Madrid, Tommy Tapia, Fernando Gutierrez, and Richard Montano III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Erica Narvaiz, Vicente Ortega, Carlos Tapia, Audriana Narvaiz-Montano, Natasha Montano, Isaac Varela, John Romero, Mateo Roybal, Linayah Montano, Vivyanna Montano, Kinsley Rose Varela.
Catholic Services for Tony will be held on January 21, 2025 at St. Anne's Parish 505 Alicia St. Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501 with a rosary at 9:00 am, Mass at 10:00 am and a burial service to follow at San Isidro-San Jose Parish.
In lieu of flowers the family requests they be made to Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations 417 Rodeo Rd Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505 in his honor. www.riverafamilyfuneralhome.com

It was so sad to hear of Tony´s passing. He was a good friend and a wonderful teacher. When I was young and knew it all, Tony took me under his wing and showed me how a man works. I couldn´t have had a better mentor. He was a great friend and took me hunting. He invited me into his home just to come over and watch football. His wife Bonnie also became a close friend. They treated me like one of their children. Always kind and welcoming. And funny. We always had a laugh. I lost my wife at a young age. Tony and Bonnie were one of the first ones to call me. Even though I had moved away, they found my phone number and let me know that they cared and were there for me. Tony was a great man and a dear friend. I will miss him. I want Bonnie and Gloria that I always took Tony with me. The lessons he was kind enough to share with me for ever. God bless Tony, and may Jesus comfort Bonnie and his children.
