Bobbie Campbell Obituary

Bobbie Campbell

March 12, 1954 - September 2, 2023

Santa Maria/ Orcutt - Bobbie Lynn Campbell, age 69 of Santa Maria, California, has finally "Gone with the Wind ' ' and "Frankly, my dear, ' she does not give a Damn ". She found her Rainbow Connection on September 2, 2023, when she finally was able to discard her broken body, regain her ability to speak clearly and smile with joy, seeing familiar faces she missed dearly such as son Tyrell Campbell, sister Donna Wagner, and brother Larry Miller.

Bobbie was born on March 12, 1954 to the late Walter Miller, Jr. and Wilma Lynn Kupka Miller. Bobbie was one of five children, becoming a force to be reckoned with. Being one of the eldest, she learned never to back down, advocate for what she believes in, and be a leader. She brought these characteristics to everything that she did. Whether it was twirling a baton in the color guard at Ernest Righetti high school, being a Girl Scout, or being a mother to five children of her own.

Bobbie was known for living by her own rules, seeking independence. She graduated early from high school, so she can join her mom at the telephone company (later called Verizon). Even though she was dedicated to the company, she was never dedicated to getting a cell phone. She was a landline type of lady.

With an enthusiasm as boundless as her collections of dolls and extraordinary collection of girl and Boy Scout memorabilia, (literally, there is no match); she was part of the historical society. She would often show off her collection of Girl Scout memorabilia up and down the California coast and even in New York City. Bobbie enjoyed visiting her sister Donna shopping all the sales that came their way. I hope there is a Clearance Sale in heaven because that will be her happy place.

Bobbie was also involved in the 50 plus club, making more friends and committing more time to church. You would always find Bobbie at a good pancake breakfast at Saint Louis de Montfort Church.

The Girl Scout motto is "Always Be Prepared." Unfortunately, there is nothing to prepare you for this great loss of life. She was truly the fairest of all the land.

Bobbie will be missed by her surviving husband, Ron Campbell, and leaving behind beautiful memories for her children, Jesse Campbell, Randy Campbell, Victoria Brentari, and Theresa Campbell. A remarkable grandmother, Bobbie showered Tayton Campbell, Coral Campbell, Nadia, Quinn Campbell, Laylah Campbell, Connor Brentari, and Keaton Brentari with a world of love and laughter. Her brothers Ron and Doug Miller and her countless nieces and nephews will also feel this void. Bobbie never missed a birthday, anniversary, Christmas card, or any other random holiday (Who sends a card for St. Patrick's Day? Bobbie did!).

L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz once said, "A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others." Speaking for the others, we will miss you Mom.

Bobbie was a leader when I was in boy scouts with Tyrell, Randy and Jessie, and I remember her fondly. Goodbye Mrs. Campbell, and thank you for everything!

I worked with Bobbie at General Telephone in the 70´s, we were both telephone operators. Bobbie was always so kind and enjoyable to work with. Sending my deep condolences to her family, I know she will be deeply missed by all of you.
