1976 - 2023
Darlene Raina Palato, 47, of Santa Maria, fell asleep in death, Saturday, November 18, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home. Darlene was born August 13, 1976 in Santa Maria, CA.
Darlene loved her family, friends and her God Jehovah. Darlene was baptized on January 1, 1994 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her relationship with Jehovah was the most important relationship in her life. She demonstrated a deep love and friendship with Jehovah. One of her favorite scriptures was Ecclesiastes 7:1. Another scripture she often quoted was Revelation 21:4. She longed to see the end to death. She was also comforted by the resurrection hope of John 5:28, 29.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father Larry Palato. She is survived by her mother Lydia Palato; her sister Denise Palato Sitton and her husband Jerry Sitton; her brother David Palato; her nephew David Palato II. She will be missed by many family and friends.
Graveside services will be at the Santa Maria Cemetery on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness located at 333 Hidden Pines Way in Santa Maria.
