Franco Medrano Obituary

FRANCO MEDRANO
1964-2008

Franco Medrano passed away August 6, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was surrounded by his loved ones when he took his last breath and went home to his mother (who preceded him in death). He was born December 7, 1964 in Mc Allen, Texas to Lorenzo and Guadalupe Medrano. As an infant his family moved to the Santa Maria Valley. His family bought a home in Guadalupe where he was raised and went to school. After graduating from Righetti High he enlisted in the Army, 82nd Air Bourne. He did two separate tours and he was happiest in the Army. After the Army, he came back to the area then lived in Indio, Ohio and then Phoenix, Arizona. He leaves behind a wife, Eddie Medrano of Phoenix, father Lorenzo Medrano of Guadalupe California, sister Martha Godinez- Montoya of Santa Maria, sister and brother-in-law Alicia and David Villarreal of Dallas Texas, sister and brother-in- law Janie and Glen Robles of Santa Maria, his childhood and best friend Edwin Ando of Santa Maria, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A mass is planned for August 23 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Guadalupe. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to your local VA Association.
