Frederick Showalter Obituary
1926-2021
Fred (95) passed away on 10-8-2021. Fred was born on August 18, 1926 in Bushon, Kansas, to William and Marie Showalter. Fred attend local schools, joined the Army in 1944. Fred retired from the Santa Barbara County Road Division in 1981. After retirement he became a full time golfer for more than 20 years.
Fred is survived by his son Anthony (Tony) Showalter, daughters Shawn Rees (Jamie), and Donna Peters (Dan), Grandchildren Troy, Raeanna, Cortney, Krista, Mandi. Great-grandchildren Keagan, Curran and Kennedy along with numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time.
REST IN PEACE!! WE LOVE YOU MORE!!

Sixty years ago worked as a summer hire at the Road Dept. Fred and his buddy Jim Abelo made it a very entertaining summer. Fred was a class act.
