Gregorio Delgado Dominguez

1958 - 2023

Gregorio Delgado Dominguez, born December 10, 1958, passed away December 25, 2023, at the age of 65.

Greg was born in Santa Rosa, Ca. to parents Robert and Sylvia Dominguez. He attended school at Mary Buren in Guadalupe, Ca. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

In his lifetime he worked in many fields. From the City of Santa Maria, various auto part industry positions, and the latest position being a security guard for the Santa Maria VA Clinic. He also was highly active in his community making a place for himself as a member of the local Knights of Columbus; Elks Lodge; Moose Lodge.

Greg had spent many of his years volunteering his free time to give back to those around him. He was always the one you could call and was quick to help when he could. He didn't waste his time waiting around for answers, he only made things happen. Early years you could see him coaching his kids teams from the dugout at Northside Little League to the basketball courts at The Boys and Girls Club. Or you would see him at the Elks Rodeo riding around on the gator helping out. When he wasn't busy volunteering he loved to spend time with his family often from behind the Bbq pit. Enjoying classic car shows remembering the good ole days of the Imperial Classics. Watching his beloved Rams on his big screen. Once finally getting to go see his favorite wrestlers at Wrestlemania. But there wasn't a time you wouldn't see him on the lanes at Rancho Bowl enjoying his favorite pastime. No matter what he did or where he went there wasn't a moment missed where you didn't see him posing for a picture.

Greg was preceded in death by parents Robert and Sylvia Dominguez. His brothers Robert Bear, Gilbert, Julio and Albert Dominguez. Uncle Jerry and Aunt Elvira Agurrie. Also his Granddaughter Neveah Arellano.

Survived by his four children Gregory Jr, Sherree, Sireena and Jade Dominguez. His Loving Grandchildren Gabriel and Jazmine Dominguez; Elena, Analicia, Sebastion DeLaPaz; Aurora Guerrero; Kalian Rojas; Anaya Arellano. Siblings Maria ChaCha (Jay) Penrod; Barbara Dominguez; Benny (Marianna) Dominguez; Tim Dominguez; Tony (Cuca) Dominguez; Diana Chita (Eric) Gonzalez; Sister In-Law Alice Dominguez. Also many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being held through Dudley Hoffman. Viewing and Rosary will be held January 11, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm. Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on January 12, 2024 at 10:30am, burial to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery. The family would like to welcome all friends and family to the Santa Maria Moose Lodge for the celebration of life.

I lived across the street from him on Fir st. Back then, he was Gogado and the school we attended was G.U.S. He was, like the rest of us, treasure park trash. LOL, no disrespect intended. We loved it. Good times, mi hermano.

Greg; you will be missed so much. I can´t believe how fast you were taken. I will always remember you, Mary, and my self on Burger Night at the Moose. And volunteering to feed the Elks Rodeo volunteers.
You and Mary were always the best together. No matter what was happening in both of your lives.. could see the love between you two.
Your children, your grandchildren, your family, and yours friends are blown away by your passing. As your friend, and as Mary and Jade´s friend, I miss you.
