Gregory Pedigo Obituary
1948 - 2022
Gregory Barnes Pedigo of Santa Maria, CA passed away on December 6, 2022 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Greg was born in Taft, CA on August 8, 1948 to Emory Robertson Pedigo and Beverly Pedigo. He is a Santa Maria High graduate, Class of 1966, he attended San Diego State University and graduated from Cal Poly, Class of 1972.
Greg spent most of his life in the agriculture industry starting at Souza-Boster Farms with his Uncle Wilbur Souza. He then co-founded Babe Farms in 1986 with Wil Souza and Frank Lundberg.
Greg developed grower relations in Baja California and beyond for Babe Farms. He later farmed in Todos Santos, Mexico forming his own corporation AATYF in 2005.
Greg was a man of few words but had a very big heart. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
Greg is survived by his wife of 45 years Cherrie Wilson Pedigo, his sisters Pamela (Ivan) Cordero and Susan (Ron) Bernard and his brother Bobby (Emory Robertson Pedigo Jr.) along with many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Margaret May Pedigo.
A Celebration of life will be held Monday, February 6 at the Foxenwood Clubhouse, 1087 Clubhouse Drive in Santa Maria, from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
