Jerry Frasier Obituary

Jerry Frasier

December 28, 1938 - July 30, 2025

Grover Beach - Our brave and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and husband has passed away at the age of 86. Jerry Frasier suffered from the ravages of Parkinson 's Disease for over 15 years before his body finally gave out. He arrived on the Central Coast in the late 1950 's, and worked for the San Luis Obispo Planning Department where he helped design many projects, including one of the Morro Bay Embarcadero, and the subdivision of Cabrillo Estates in Los Osos. He also worked for the Community Development Department of Santa Maria. There, he worked on the City's Sphere of Influence project and the City Bike Path project, among many others. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment was ensuring that all four of his beautiful daughters graduated from college. Jerry was married to his wife, Marcia, for almost thirty-three years. The family wishes to thank Central Coast Home Health and Hospice; especially physical therapist Jessica who has worked with Jerry for years. We are grateful to his Movement Disorder Neurologists Brent Bluett, David Hardesty, and especially Indu Subramanian of UCLA, who, as well as is many other physicians, helped keep Jerry going for many years. The Santa Maria VA was invaluable for providing Jerry with equipment and services. We are also eternally grateful for his caregivers, Hanna, Johanna, and Madeline. Gravesite services will be held on August 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at the Cayucos Morro Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Central Coast Home Health and Hospice.
